Kenton J. Coppage addressed the Defense Research Institute’s Life Health Disability and ERISA Seminar on life, health and disability claims arising out of jurisdictions overseas. The presentation covered some of the more interesting cases involving such claims, including those addressing the admissibility of foreign documents as well as cases discussing the interplay of domestic law, specifically ERISA, and foreign claims for benefits.
