Fox Rothschild Represents 3 Diamonds Films on its Independent Releases of the ‘Unexpected Christmas’ Movie and Soundtrack
A Fox Rothschild entertainment and music team served as 360-degree legal counsel to 3 Diamonds Films on its “Unexpected Christmas” U.S. markets film release this weekend as well as the soundtrack’s October 2025 release.
The team, led by Darrell D. Miller, Founding Chair of Fox’s nationwide Entertainment & Sports Law Department, handled legal work on the film from the beginning, including securing the stars of the movie and the distribution agreements for its first independent theatrical release.
“We’re enormously proud to support 3 Diamond Films as it establishes a new independent production company inspired by the success of A24, NEON, Bleecker Street and similar innovators,” said Darrel D. Miller.
The Fox team also handled all clearances for the movie soundtrack, which features firm clients October London, TA Thomas and K-CI.
In addition to Miller, the team included Leron E. Rogers, Tim Mandelbaum, Joshua A. Edwards, John T. Rose, Daniel I. Spencer, Paul J. Bezilla and Brittany T. Brown.
The film was released Nov. 7 in theaters across the country. The soundtrack was released Oct. 24, 2025.
