Please join the WWCDA Thought Leadership Committee on October 21, 2021 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM EST for a WatercoolerPLUS session on the past, present, and future of compassionate release motions. The informal discussion will include topics such as best practices for litigating compassionate release motions, non-pandemic grounds for compassionate release, and using the pandemic to argue for sentencing variances. The discussion will be led by a group of practitioners with significant experience litigating compassionate release motions. But as with all WatercoolerPLUS sessions, we hope it will be an informal and dynamic discussion.
