Fox Rothschild’s Mark Morris Honored with BBBSI Service Award
Mark Morris has spent his legal career proving that success isn’t measured only in deals closed or cases won — but in lives changed.
Chair of Fox Rothschild, Morris received the 2025 Charles Edwin Fox Memorial Service Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence (BBBSI), honoring his lifelong commitment to mentorship and community service. For Morris, this recognition is more than an accolade, it’s a reflection of his values.
Under Morris’ leadership, the firm created Generation Fox, a nationwide initiative dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening communities. Attorneys and business professionals across the firm have contributed more than 800 volunteer hours to youth-focused organizations, including BBBSI, since its launch in 2024. Generation Fox builds on programs Morris helped establish, like the firm’s participation in BBBSI’s Beyond School Walls program, which pairs firm mentors with Philadelphia elementary school students for twice-monthly visits that spark confidence and possibility.
“Our responsibility to the next generation is clear,” says Morris, who once served as chair of the BBBS Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter. “By putting today’s youth front and center, we honor the ideals that shaped this firm and ensure we make an impact we can be proud of.”
Morris’ commitment mirrors that of the firm’s founder, Charles Edwin Fox, who more than a century ago saw a need for mentorship and created the Big Brothers Association of Philadelphia. Today, through Morris’s leadership and Generation Fox’s reach, that vision continues — stronger than ever.
