Michael represents clients in transactions involving the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development and financing of commercial real estate.

Michael also advises private equity sponsors and other capital providers on land banking transactions, a growing strategy in residential real estate development. This work includes guiding investors through the acquisition, entitlement and development of land into finished lots, and negotiating the option and construction agreements under which homebuilders develop and purchase those lots in scheduled phases.

Formerly a commercial litigator, Michael has practical understanding of the manner in which agreements are interpreted and enforced, which informs how he structures and negotiates transactions today.
