Fox Rothschild congratulates Neale T. Johnson on his selection to the 2024 Construction Power List by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly. This annual list recognizes North Carolina’s leading lawyers in construction.

Johnson is co-chair of the firm’s nationwide Litigation Department. With more than 20 years of experience, he works with clients to resolve construction disputes and negotiates contracts that reduce the likelihood of disputes by allocating risks before project commencement. “I feel privileged every day to be able to represent owners and contractors as they navigate tough legal problems,” he told North Carolina Lawyers Weekly.

When challenges arise, Johnson helps clients navigate them with a laser focus on preserving relationships and resolving disagreements at the business level. “If disputes cannot be avoided, I work to resolve conflicts as quickly and favorable as the circumstances permits,” he said.

Johnson is also well versed in collaborative practice and mediation. He is certified as a Superior Court Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and listed as a mediator and arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association’s construction industry and commercial arbitration panels.
