Congratulations to Fox Rothschild’s Raleigh Office Managing Partner Bradley M. Risinger, who was named a Managing Partner to Watch by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly. The honor recognizes his leadership, depth of experience and commitment to strengthening the firm’s engagement in the community.

With more than 35 years of legal experience, Risinger brings a trial lawyer’s perspective to leading the Raleigh office, a role he assumed in 2022. His experience navigating business disputes, coupled with his deep ties to North Carolina’s legal and civic communities, shapes his approach to leading the office. The Raleigh team advises clients on energy/infrastructure, healthcare, labor and employment, land use and real estate, transactions, and disputes in trial and appellate courts across the Southeast.

A trained journalist with a knack for storytelling, Risinger found “litigation a great fit as it allows him to learn about industries and conflicts and explain them to courts and juries.” He focuses on harnessing a client’s story to address the practical questions judges, jurors and arbitrators may have when confronted with a new industry or business practice.

Risinger’s team has represented law firms and media outlets seeking access to public records withheld by law enforcement agencies, raising serious issues involving First Amendment rights and North Carolina’s commitment to government transparency.

“Especially in today’s climate, this is a fight that’s always worth waging when the public has a declining window into many government activities done in the public’s name,” Risinger said.

His commitment to the community extends beyond the firm. Risinger served seven years on the board of directors of United Way of North Carolina, including as chair and head of its CEO search committee. The statewide nonprofit connects people and resources to help communities thrive. He also served on the board of NC 211, North Carolina’s health and human services referral network.
