Charlotte Business Journal Names Alexandra Hirsch Among 40 Under 40 Honorees
Fox Rothschild congratulates Alexandra J. Hirsch, who was selected to the 2025 class of 40 Under 40 honorees by the Charlotte Business Journal.
The program “turns a spotlight on 40 individuals — all under the age of 40 — who are making a difference in the region.”
A partner in the Litigation Department, Hirsch focuses her practice on subrogation claims involving significant damage to structures, heavy equipment, vehicles, vessels, including loss caused by fire, water, collision and collapse. She also handles a range of additional litigation matters in both state and federal courts, including commercial claims and insurance defense issues. Before practicing law, Hirsch spent two years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation as an analyst.
When asked by the Charlotte Business Journal about her biggest accomplishment in the last year, Hirsch said, “Being elevated to partner at my law firm. This achievement reflects not only the trust and confidence my colleagues have in my abilities but also the hard work and dedication I've consistently brought to our clients and the firm.”
Hirsch also spoke extensively about what she sees as the most pressing issues facing Charlotte. “As the Charlotte region continues to experience rapid growth, infrastructure — and particularly the need for efficient public transportation options — has become increasingly pressing. Expanding and improving the transportation network, including more accessible public transit and better roads, is essential to maintaining sustainable growth and will improve quality of life, reduce commute times and make the region more connected for residents and businesses,” she noted.
Active in the community, Hirsch volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Carolinas, a nonprofit that provides one-on-one mentoring to children who are at risk in the community. She is also on the Mecklenburg County Bar Leadership Institute (BLI) Committee, which encourages lawyers to develop their professional and leadership skills within the Bar, Foundation and legal profession.
Hirsch is a former Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps. Through this position, she provided legal support to soldiers and their families.
