Christopher I. Clark Named Finalist for Real Estate Attorney of the Year at Texas Legal Awards

Fox Rothschild congratulates partner Christopher I. Clark, who has been named a finalist for Real Estate Attorney of the Year at the Texas Legal Awards, presented by Law.com and Texas Lawyer, in recognition of the impact and significance of his real estate practice.

Clark is Administrative Partner of the firm’s Texas Real Estate Practice and a member of the firm’s Strategic Growth Committee. He previously served as Managing Partner of the firm’s Dallas office. Clark represents developers, sponsors, and institutional investors on retail, office, multifamily, medical office and other health care projects. He has built a reputation for coordinating deals with multiple capital stacks, including EB-5 mezzanine layers, first-lien construction loans, Freddie Mac assumptions and complex equity arrangements.

Clark’s recent highlights include representing MG Retail Partners in the acquisition, financing and build-to-suit ground leases for two Academy Sports + Outdoors locations in Mount Pleasant, Texas and Siloam Springs, Arkansas; serving as borrowers’ counsel in the refinancing of a $65 million industrial real estate portfolio with properties in Texas, Tennessee, Ohio and Mississippi; and representing project sponsors in forming the joint ventures behind a 249-unit single-family townhome rental project in Tarrant County, Texas, two industrial buildings totaling more than 300,000 square feet, and a Class A multifamily complex of approximately 288 units, both in Austin.

Clark is on the board of trustees of Greenhill School in Dallas. He is also active with the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Asian American Bar Association.
