Fox Rothschild congratulates John T. Rose, who was selected to the National Bar Association’s Top 40 Under 40: Nation’s Best Advocates list.

The list features “the nation’s top lawyers under the age of 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement” in the “areas of innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community involvement.”

Rose, an associate in the Entertainment & Sports Law Department, advises high-profile entertainment industry clients, including award-winning creatives and multiplatinum recording artists and producers on a broad range of agreements and litigation. He has been included on Billboard’s Top Music Lawyers and Variety’s Legal Impact lists, which feature the nation’s leading entertainment attorneys and dealmakers.

Working alongside Fox Partner Leron Rogers, Rose has represented rap icon Rick Ross, EGOT winner Viola Davis, the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, Grammy-award-winning singer and TV star Coco Jones, Grammy-award-winning producer Ronny J, Grammy-nominated singers B.o.B., Jagged Edge and K Michelle, Billboard-charting artists YFN Lucci, October London, Kaliii and many more.

“Being relatable and visible as a successful Black lawyer helps to inspire Black boys and girls by demonstrating that this career path is attainable,” said Rose. “It’s why I frequently volunteer my time to speak at schools and institutions of higher education in Atlanta, where I’m based, and across the country, on professional, business and industry topics.”

Beyond his legal practice, he is co-creator of the innovative visual content label Collective Gallery, which, with a network of more than 1,000 photographers and other visual artists, is the creative production agency of record for some of world’s leading brands. Rose also co-founded S.A.D.E.’s Hope, Inc., a nonprofit organization that serves teenage and millennial victims of domestic violence.

Rose earned his bachelor’s degree from Hampton University, Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, and certification in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School.
