Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates James H. Abrams, who was a recipient of the Meritorious Service Award by Legal Aid at Work, a nonprofit organization that protects and expands the rights of low-wage workers, their families, and communities through free legal clinics, litigation assistance, and policy advocacy, among other services.

Honored for more than a decade of service to Legal Aid at Work, Abrams is recognized for “consistently and meaningfully” contributing his time to advance the mission of the nonprofit where he serves as a member of the Board of Directors, Treasurer, and a core member of the Executive, Finance and Audit Committees.

Abrams is recognized for helping steer the organization by bringing perspectives that “enriched discussions and informed possible outcomes,” and for his work behind the scenes negotiating Legal Aid at Work’s office lease in 2020, during which he landed favorable terms and nuanced provisions that enabled the organization to remain in its current space.

In his practice at Fox, Abrams focuses on real estate finance and has extensive experience in real estate lending, including construction and permanent lending, securitized loans, ground lease financing, and vineyard and winery loans.

He earned his J.D. and M.P.P. from the University of California, Berkeley and his A.B. from Stanford University.
