Fox Rothschild congratulates Marc H. Simon on receiving the African Children’s Choir ChangeMakers Award in recognition of his nearly two decades of dedication to the organization, which creates brighter futures for vulnerable children across Africa through education, music and leadership development. Simon’s longstanding support includes helping establish the Choir’s annual ChangeMakers Gala.

“It has been incredibly rewarding to watch the ChangeMakers Gala grow and, more importantly, to see the opportunities the African Children’s Choir creates for vulnerable children in Africa through education and music,” Simon said. “I’m deeply honored by this recognition and proud to continue supporting an organization whose work has such a meaningful and tangible impact.”

The African Children’s Choir is part of the Music for Life program, an international organization providing education and leadership training to children faced with poverty and deprivation in Africa.

Simon’s connection to the organization began nearly two decades ago. After seeing the Choir perform at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008, he was inspired to help create what became the annual ChangeMakers Gala. Now in its 17th year, the New York City event raises funds and awareness to advance the Choir’s mission.

Over the years, Simon’s continued involvement has helped the gala grow into an enduring tradition, supporting educational opportunities and leadership development for children across Africa.
