Congratulations to Tim Mandelbaum, who was highlighted by Variety among the “top attorneys who rock showbiz” in their 2024 Music Elite Report.

In the past year, Mandelbaum handled the sale of Christine McVie’s Fleetwood Mac master royalties to HarbourView, the acquisition of DJ/producer Gesaffelstein’s catalog by Position Music and numerous other big music catalog transactions.

While many music legends’ catalogs have now been taken off the market, the deals continue to flow for newer musicians. “I’m in the middle of a deal on behalf of a buyer who is acquiring some rights in music that is only a year old,” Mandelbaum told Variety.

Variety also cited his work on the re-signing of Raphael Saadiq to Universal Music Publishing and the negotiation of a distribution agreement between Fivio Foreign and the Orchard.

Mandelbaum, a partner in Fox Rothschild’s national Entertainment & Sports Law Department, brings four decades of experience to the industry.
