Darrell D. Miller, Founding Chair of the Entertainment & Sports Law Department, is recognized for his long-time work with A-listers Angela Bassett, Courtney B. Vance and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges. The report also highlights his representation of the NAACP in its multi-year content deal with CBS Television, which will place projects at Paramount+ and Apple TV+ featuring major talents.

Marc H. Simon, Chair of the Entertainment & Sports Law Department, is noted for overseeing the $75 million sale of MALKA Media Group to MoneyLion as well as a publishing deal with Knopf and a streaming deal with CNN on behalf of Joanne Woodward and her late husband, Paul Newman.

Leron E. Rogers and John T. Rose were named as a duo for their work on several notable transactions, including leading a stock restructuring and sale agreement for Rick Ross’ ownership share of Sovereign Brands.

Daniel I. Spencer was featured on Variety’s Up Next list for his work with Bill Nye to negotiate writing, producing and on-camera services deals with NBC Universal. He is also recognized for assisting with negotiations on behalf of Paul Newman’s estate for a publishing agreement with Knopf as well as working with Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy on a deal with Marvel Studios to direct multiple episodes of the Disney+ series, “Ms. Marvel.”
