Nicholas Koffroth Named to ABI’s 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders in Insolvency Practice List

Fox Rothschild congratulates Nicholas A. Koffroth, who was recognized among the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 2024 class of 40 Under 40 honorees.

The annual list highlights individuals under the age of 40 who “demonstrate remarkable ability, leadership and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.”

“We are honored to celebrate the exceptional leaders within the 2024 class as they continue to make a significant impact both in their practice and in their communities,” said ABI Executive Director Amy Quackenboss in a press release. “As bankruptcy practice continues to evolve, this diverse collection of honorees will propel ABI and the insolvency community forward.”

Elevated to Partner in 2024, Koffroth focuses his practice on complex bankruptcy cases and financial restructuring matters. His bankruptcy experience includes work in the health care, commercial real estate, commercial lending and entertainment sectors.

A rising leader in the industry, Koffroth was ranked as an “Up and Coming” Bankruptcy/Restructuring attorney for California in the 2024 Chambers USA guide. He has represented debtors in matters ranging from the second largest hospital bankruptcy case in U.S. history to Subchapter V cases. He leads high stakes litigation and represents clients in complex cases involving multimillion-dollar disputes.

Koffroth also serves on the Advisory Board of the Southwest Bankruptcy Conference for the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Business Bankruptcy Committee of the American Bar Association.
