Fox Rothschild Awarded Gold Status for Law Firm Sustainability
Fox Rothschild earned Gold status on the All Legal Industry Sustainability Standard (ALISS) scorecard provided by Vorgate Impact, an ESG-focused technology company.
Launched in 2017, ALISS is an online self-assessment tool serving as a roadmap and recognition mark for law firms. Developed by Vorgate Impact, the tool enables law firms to examine, enhance and advance integration of their sustainability programs and practices.
ALISS evaluates firms on various criteria, including energy efficiency, resource conservation and recycling measures. By achieving Gold status, Fox demonstrates excellence in these areas, placing it among the top performers in the legal industry.
“We recognize our responsibility as global citizens and are committed to practices and policies within the firm and for our clients to promote sustainability,” said Philip L. Hinerman, who serves as the firm’s Chief Sustainability Counsel. “We are thrilled and honored to receive Gold status recognition from ALISS for our efforts at environmental stewardship.”
An active member of Vorgate, Fox promotes sustainability across its offices throughout the country. In 2023, firm leadership formed a Sustainability Committee to oversee the development of office sustainability plans. To support our client’s sustainability initiatives, Fox formalized its Environmental, Social & Governance Practice Group, which assists clients in a wide range of sustainability issues, including climate, reporting and renewable energy.
