Biography
Sarah is a registered patent attorney and advises individuals and businesses on patent, trademark and other intellectual property matters.
She centers her practice on patent drafting and prosecution, clearance and freedom-to-operate analyses, and patent portfolio management. She also assists clients with trademark enforcement and dispute matters and the filing and prosecution of trademark applications.
Sarah’s experience spans a variety of industries including manufacturing, automotive, medical device, software and artificial intelligence.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Sarah values opportunities to make the law more accessible and has volunteered with the Free Law Project, contributing to an initiative promoting open access to legal information.
She is also an active innovator and has a nuanced understanding of the relationship between innovation and business needs.
Before Fox Rothschild
Sarah was a summer associate at Fox Rothschild and joined us full-time after graduating from law school.
She previously externed at two Colorado-based boutique intellectual property law firms and at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA.
Sarah worked as an engineer for several years at Gates Corporation while attending law school. Fueled by a passion for innovation, she became a registered patent agent in 2019. In addition, Sarah was a research fellow in the mechanical engineering department of Merrimack College.
