Phillip Jester and Nate McKeon Join the Southeast Fellows Institute of the ACTEC
Fox Rothschild congratulates Phillip M. Jester and Nate McKeon, who were accepted into Class III of the Southeast Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
ACTEC is a nationwide organization of trust and estate lawyers and law professors. ACTEC Fellows are peer-elected individuals who are dedicated to upholding excellence and advancing the practice of trust and estate law.
The Southeast Fellows Institute was created by the ACTEC Fellows to shape the next generation of the trust and estate legal field through learning experiences guided by industry leaders.
Each candidate is nominated by an ACTEC Fellow, must be a member of good standing with a Bar Association in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia or West Virginia, and have a minimum of three years practicing trust and estate law.
An associate in the Charlotte and Greenville offices, Jester works with clients to design and implement taxation and wealth planning strategies. He assists clients with the administration of estates, trusts and guardianships. Jester also litigates fiduciary disputes, including contests of wills, judicial modifications of trusts and conflicts among trustees and beneficiaries. Jester is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
McKeon, an associate in the Greenville office, works with high-net-worth individuals and families to design and implement tailored estate plans. He helps clients meet their wealth preservation goals through wills, trusts and other estate planning measures. McKeon also guides clients through philanthropic endeavors, assisting with the formation, administration and governance of charitable entities. McKeon is licensed in Illinois and South Carolina.
