Biography
Adam resolves and litigates complex intellectual property and high-stakes business disputes throughout the country. As Co-Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation Group, he brings deep strategic insight and courtroom experience to secure decisive wins for his clients.
Adam has led numerous high-impact matters nationwide, including trials and arbitrations involving trademark, copyright, and patent infringement; trade secret misappropriation; false advertising; and complex licensing and commercial disputes. Adam is widely recognized for his strategic and legal ability, courtroom command and skillful negotiation tactics.
He executes litigation strategies that help clients in varied industries, including technology, financial services, manufacturing, health technology, digital marketing and agri-business, among others. His work has protected multi-billion-dollar brands, proprietary technologies and trade secrets critical to his client’s competitive advantage.
Clients value Adam for his business-first mindset, persuasive advocacy and ability to deliver results under pressure. His litigation victories and negotiated settlements have preserved market leadership, mitigated risk and unlocked growth opportunities for both Fortune 500 companies and emerging innovators.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox, Adam worked at both Big Law and boutique law firms and taught patent law, which has provided him with a breadth of experience working with companies of all sizes.
Adam graduated cum laude, with honors, from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he received a J.D., a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, and was awarded a Certificate of Distinction in Patent Strategies. He was an Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property, President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, and Captain of the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court team. In addition, Adam was awarded a Chicago IP Colloquium Fellowship.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Adam sits on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach Symphony, serves on its Development Committee and is a past-Chair of the Executive Board of the Young Friends of the Palm Beach Symphony.
Adam also is Co-Chair of the Copyright Committee for the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago and is a member of the Federal Bar Association.
