Biography
Adenike works collaboratively with clients, their families and other trusted advisers on a wide range of tax and wealth planning matters.
She often provides high-net-worth individuals sophisticated estate planning advice to help them define and reach their goals. She is experienced with:
- Estate planning
- Gift tax planning
- Charitable giving
- Irrevocable gifting trusts
- Leveraging of tax exemptions and exclusions.
She also assists trustees and executors with the administration of trusts and decedent’s estates, helping them navigate often complex intestacy laws and understand their fiduciary responsibilities.
Before Fox Rothschild
A former summer associate and law clerk, Adenike joined us full-time after earning her law degree.
Adenike practiced as a student attorney for the Low-Income Tax Clinic at Georgia State University College of Law. She served on the executive board of the Georgia State University Law Review as the first outreach and inclusion editor and student editor. Additionally, she was a member of the Black Law Students Association, Parents in Law School, Estate Planning and Wealth Management Law Society, SBA Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and Law and Taxation Student Group.
A recipient of the 2022 Leadership Institute for Women of Color Attorney’s Scholarship Award and the 2023 BLSA and Gate City Award, Adenike also earned Cali Awards for Advanced Tax and Nonprofit Taxation.
She was a social worker in the U.S. and Australia for 10 years before entering the legal profession.
