Represent clients on technical and legal matters to address compliance issues including, permitting, investigation, design, and remediation under Administrative Consent Orders.
Address corporate regulatory and governance issues including those involving emerging environmental regulations and sustainability guidance.
Address regulatory permit applications and issues. Work on complex projects in a variety of sectors including construction, utility, manufacturing and real estate development to obtain land use, remediation, air, water, and soil permits. Negotiate with regulators, and, if necessary, appeal and litigate.
Represent clients in federal, state, and administrative courts at both trial and appellate levels litigating a variety of matters including contract and commercial disputes, property rights, land use appeals, and environmental cost recovery and permitting appeals.
Advise on varied land use matters, including issues relating to sensitive ecological impacts, storm water and flood control issues and natural resource damage impacts.
Address various legal impacts and issues relating to property transactions. Conduct land use/environmental due diligence and counsel real estate developers and corporate clients regarding liabilities and business impacts.
