Before Fox Rothschild

A former summer associate, Alexander joined Fox Rothschild full-time after graduating from law school. During law school, he worked as a legal innovation consultant for an international law firm, identifying inefficiencies, designing improvements, and successfully implementing practices that reduced client costs. He served on the editorial staffs of the Hastings International & Comparative Law Review and the Harvard Journal on Law & Public Policy (Vol. 45/Issue 1), and authored The Law as a Process in the U.K.-based Modern Lawyer: Ideas for Legal Leaders.

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Alexander is a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, currently serving as a Captain in the California Air National Guard, where his practice spans military prosecutions under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, international law — including emerging issues in space law and cyber operations — and civil law.

On an overseas military assignment, Alexander was tapped to negotiate and liaise on a stalled international agreement, working directly with host nation and foreign counterparts to successfully move the agreement forward. He carries this negotiator’s instinct into his civilian practice: settling smart when possible, litigating hard when not.

A former cornetist with the Kansas City Wind Symphony and jazz trumpeter, Alexander is a strong advocate for music education and has taught in Los Angeles elementary schools through Harmony Project, a nonprofit serving disadvantaged youth.
