Amanda focuses her practice on zoning and land use, real estate transactions and real estate litigation throughout South Jersey.

She represents developers and applicants before municipal planning boards and zoning boards to obtain site plan approvals, use variances and other land use entitlements across a wide range of municipalities. Amanda also represents zoning and planning boards in defending their decisions, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the approval process from every angle.

Amanda's approach is results-driven. Having started her career in litigation before transitioning to real estate, she understands how to be strategic and adversarial when necessary but recognizes that most real estate matters involve parties working toward a shared goal. She focuses on finding the most efficient path to getting an approval or closing a deal while ensuring her clients are adequately protected if circumstances change.

Amanda's land use work spans the full lifecycle of a development approval, from preparing and submitting applications, ensuring proper public notice under statutory requirements, and presenting the case at hearings alongside the applicant's professionals (architects, engineers, and professional planners), through post-approval compliance.

She is experienced in navigating the unique regulatory process before the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) in Atlantic City, where development applications follow a distinct set of procedures that require familiarity with specific professionals and governing bodies that most practitioners do not regularly encounter.

When land use decisions are challenged or denied, Amanda handles complaints in lieu of prerogative writ on behalf of both applicants and boards, litigating these matters through the trial court and on appeal. She also handles real estate litigation involving specific performance and other disputes arising from failed transactions.

On the transactional side, Amanda represents buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of commercial properties and higher-end residential shore properties. She also drafts and reviews commercial lease agreements for landlords and tenants.
