Amy counsels business entities and property owners on environmental, corporate and regulatory compliance issues.
Environmental
Amy is a member of the firm’s Environmental Practice Group and helps developers and property owners with a wide range of issues before the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. She has experience working on wetland and environmental remediation projects, brownfield redevelopment and land use entitlement.
Health Care Sector
In her work with the Health Law Practice Group, Amy assists in major transactions, including sales of physician and dental practices and laboratories. She also advises clients on regulatory compliance and keeping current with changes in the law. In addition, she helps clients comply with the privacy and security requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Amy also has significant litigation and insurance defense experience, including representing clients at trial, the negotiating table and in alternative dispute resolution forums.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Amy established and teaches a course that helps individuals and groups attain fluency in conversational and written Spanish. She also serves as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Amy was a litigator in the New York office of a global law firm. She also worked as an in-house litigation associate for a national insurance company and with a New York-based insurance litigation boutique.
