Fox Rothschild is pleased to welcome Morgan McCall Reece to the Greensboro, NC office as counsel in the Litigation Department and Appellate Practice Group.

Reece leverages her experience as a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and state prosecutor to defend businesses and individuals in white-collar criminal cases and regulatory proceedings, focusing on trial and appellate defense.

Nearly a decade as a state and federal prosecutor has provided Reece an insider’s perspective that is valuable in criminal appeals defense. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney, she successfully argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. She has also written and consulted on dozens of briefs and handled a wide range of post-conviction work.

Reece works with businesses to uncover the facts when they suspect or face allegations of internal wrongdoing. She uses her findings to help mitigate risk, recover stolen funds or information and respond to legal authorities and regulators.

Reece earned her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Prior to joining Fox, she litigated appeals and prosecuted a broad range of crimes as a federal prosecutor in the Middle District of North Carolina.
