Biography

Morgan is seasoned appellate litigator and a Board Certified Specialist in State Criminal Law by the North Carolina State Bar. She centers her practice on appellate and trial advocacy, internal investigations and advising clients on tax and regulatory compliance matters.

She draws on nearly a decade of experience as prosecutor, first in the North Carolina state courts and later as an Assistant U.S. Attorney.

Morgan brings an informed perspective to criminal appeals and complex litigation. She has argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, authored and consulted on dozens of appellate briefs, and handled a wide range of post-conviction matters.

Her appellate work extends to commercial litigation, including complex business disputes, where her meticulous approach to legal strategy ensures her clients' positions are effectively represented.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining the firm, Morgan litigated appeals and prosecuted a broad range of crimes as a federal prosecutor in the Middle District of North Carolina. Before that she was a state prosecutor, serving as Assistant District Attorney for Forsyth and Mecklenburg counties. Upon graduating from law school, Morgan practiced at a boutique North Carolina law firm.

While in law school, Morgan was a member of the National Trial Team for two years, serving as captain in her final year of law school. She won multiple awards for her advocacy skills.
