Biography
Brian concentrated his practice on education and construction law.
Former managing partner of the firm's Blue Bell office and past co-chair of the firm's Construction Law Group, Brian was also a past chair of the Montgomery Bar Construction Law Committee and the Montgomery Bar Rules of the Orphans’ Court Committee.
Brian represented numerous school entities as Solicitor and Special Counsel for more than 25 years. He had extensive experience regarding special education matters, as well as general education, school construction, procurement, technology, charter school, student and employment matters.
Brian led the firm’s special education team, supervising six attorneys who focused their practices on special education from the child find and IEP processes through due process and state and federal court appeals.
Brian had extensive experience representing public and private sector owners in major construction renovation projects, having served as general construction counsel or special counsel on more than 50 major construction projects with a value of more than $750,000,000. He successfully represented architects, developers, contractors and subcontractors in the defense and prosecution of complex construction claims.
