Biography

Brooke advises U.S. and international pharma and biotech companies on patent strategy and portfolio management.

She handles patent procurement and licensing, counseling clients at all stages of the process, from product development through the clinical phase and approval. Brooke also provides due diligence counseling to support financing or target acquisition, and conducts patentability, freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses. In addition, she supports patent litigation efforts.

Brooke has drafted and prosecuted patents involving antibodies, enzyme replacement therapies, siRNAs, viral vectors, cell therapies, fusion proteins, small molecules and gene editing, as well as methods of treatment, medical uses and clinical protocols.

Before Fox Rothschild

Brooke joined us from a boutique intellectual property law firm in Seattle. 

Before starting her legal career, Brooke obtained a Ph.D. in Biology from Georgetown University and was a post-doctoral researcher at Florida International University, where she conducted research in the field of ecology.

While earning her law degree, Brooke served as a judicial extern with the Honorable Stephen J. Dwyer of the Washington State Court of Appeals, was a member of the Washington Law Review, and was selected as a Legal Writing Fellow.
