C.J. Fisher Named a Sports & Betting Rising Star by Law360

Fisher, Co-Chair of Fox’s Gaming Department, is at the forefront of the expansion of legalized and regulated sports betting in the United States. His notable representations include serving as U.S. gaming and regulatory counsel to Sportradar, Authentic Brands Group, MGM Resorts International, Sports IQ Analytics, Inc. and Yahoo! Sports.

Based in the firm’s Atlantic City office, Fisher handles licensing, compliance and regulatory matters for clients operating in jurisdictions across the country. His clients include sports betting, iGaming and esports operators and service providers; data, odds and risk management providers; media companies; iGaming/sports betting marketing affiliates; casino licensees; gaming equipment manufacturers and suppliers; investors and professional sports leagues.

A thought leader in his field, Fisher often serves as a resource on hot topics in the industry, including iGaming, sports betting, esports, daily fantasy sports, virtual sports and skill-based gaming. He has spoken extensively on gaming-related topics in conjunction with the International Masters of Gaming Law, National Council on Problem Gambling, International Association of Gaming Advisors, SiGMA and the New Jersey State Bar Association, among others. He is also an active member in the gaming law community and serves on the Board of Trustees for the International Association of Gaming Advisors and the Young Members Committee of the International Masters of Gaming Law.

He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and B.S. from Pennsylvania State University.
