Cassy represents clients throughout the business life cycle, from entity formation, to venture capital financings and private equity investments, to restructurings and joint ventures, to owner exits and dissolutions.

She has particular experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, such as stock and asset sales, mergers and change of control transactions. Cassy also regularly serves as outside general counsel to companies on more straightforward legal compliance matters as well as matters involving nuanced legal strategy.

Cassy works closely with clients to understand the nuances of their businesses and goals. She uses this knowledge to draft and revise complex transactional agreements, including purchase agreements, licensing agreements, joint venture agreements and commercial contracts. Cassy also drafts corporate governance documents governing the relationship between companies and their shareholders, such as corporate by-laws, operating agreements and shareholder agreements. Cassy also represents clients in reorganizations, recapitalizations, divestitures and spin-offs and other restructurings to maximize shareholder investments.
