Delaware Gov. John Carney has announced an expansion to the DE Relief Grants program, which assists small businesses affected by COVID-19. The expansion will provide an additional $25 million in additional relief for hundreds of Delaware businesses.

There is no need to apply for additional funds. The Division of Small Businesses will contact eligible businesses directly. Qualifying businesses that previously received funds through DE Relief Grants can expect to receive up to double their original grant allocation.

Eligible businesses include those that opened on or before March 15, 2020, have at least one employee and belong to a disproportionately impacted industry (such as restaurants and bars).

We will continue to provide updates on new legislation as it becomes available. For more information on this alert, please contact Chaney Hall at 302.622.4276 or chall@foxrothschild.com or any member of the firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office.
