Representative engagements include:
- Serving as counsel to the indenture trustee and notes collateral agent for $1.2 billion in secured notes in the Rite Aid Chapter 11 cases.
- Representing the indenture trustee in recovery on defaulted $400 million notes in the Aeromexico Chapter 11 proceeding.
- Representing the administrative agent and collateral agent for a $200 million DIP financing in the Cyxtera Technologies Chapter 11 cases.
- Representing the indenture trustee for $1.6 billion in second-lien notes in Frontier Communications Chapter 11 restructuring.
Curtis also advises companies on commercial disputes, transactions and other business matters where legal, financial and business/operational issues are closely intertwined. Curtis frequently helps clients address multidisciplinary legal challenges by coordinating services from the right lawyers across the firm to produce targeted results. Curtis has held a number of leadership roles during his career, including in law firm management, cybersecurity and compliance-related initiatives, and pro bono program administration.
