Biography
A member of the firm's Litigation Department, Dana represents clients in a wide variety of commercial and federal government contract disputes.
She supports the firm's Construction and Federal Government Contracts practice groups in transactional, compliance and litigation matters.
Her construction experience involves analysis of commercial contracts and subcontracts, including AIA contract documents; conducting risk assessments of contracts to identify and summarize potential performance risks; and revising contract language to mitigate risk throughout the contract negotiation and execution process.
Dana’s federal government contract experience involves advising clients on compliance matters; conducting internal investigations related to the performance of federal government contracts; reviewing and drafting subcontract agreements for use on federal projects; analyzing and assessing federal contract language to generate risk assessments addressing performance considerations for clients; drafting joint venture agreements; drafting claims for payment and/or time on federal projects; and federal bid protests. She often represents clients in contract dispute resolution litigation at the Boards of Contract Appeals.
Before Fox Rothschild
Dana was previously a summer associate and law clerk at Fox. She also worked as a legal intern in the Office of Contracts for the New York City Human Resources Administration/Department of Social Services. In law school, she served as Notes Editor for the Public Contracts Law Journal.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Dana was selected to join the 2023 Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Leadership and Mentorship Program. The one-year training program for young professionals in the government contract space connects a select group of future leaders with experienced industry mentors.
She also has worked as a volunteer employment services intern for the International Rescue Committee.
