Biography

A skilled litigator and trial lawyer, Dominique focuses his practice on complex intellectual property litigation involving patents, trademarks and copyrights.

He provides strategic representation to small, medium and large businesses in manufacturing, retail, media and other industries, assisting them with matters of trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition and false advertising.

Beyond intellectual property, Dominique also serves as outside general counsel to privately held businesses. He provides legal advice on a wide range of matters, including contract negotiations, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance, in addition to providing management and staff training.

In his construction practice, Dominique often helps owners, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers and developers litigate disputes in state and federal court and in arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association.

Dominique’s litigation experience includes:*

  • Obtained $7 million jury verdict for national manufacturing company after seven-day trademark infringement trial in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
  • Served as lead trial counsel in collective action filed under the Fair Labor Standards Act in U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. After four-day trial, secured dismissal of all claims as to two members of the collective action. Secured favorable settlement as to remaining plaintiffs.
  • Defended manufacturer against claims of conversion, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duties in a 16-day jury trial.
  • Defended online content aggregator in four-day copyright infringement jury trial in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining Fox, Dominique was a litigation associate for four years at a New Jersey law firm.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Dominique went on to earn J.D. and MBA degrees in a joint business and law curriculum at the University of Illinois. He received several awards at the school, earning top marks while serving as an editor of the Illinois Business Law Journal. During law school, he served as a research assistant to corporate governance professor Nicola Sharpe. He was also a summer associate in the Chicago office of a national law firm.

After law school, Dominique worked in labor relations, where he gained experience in advising managers and employees on compliance with employment laws, analyzing union proposals and coordinating appropriate responses, and investigating alleged violations of company policies and legal regulations.

Dominique was selected to the 2025 Class of Fellows for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), which consists of more than 300 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. He previously was selected to the LCLD’s 2021 Class of Pathfinders.
