Fox Rothschild welcomes Valerie H. Tocci as a Partner in the Family Law Department in the New York office.

A pragmatic advocate and skilled negotiator, Tocci represents high-net-worth families and individuals in all aspects of matrimonial and family law. She understands the emotional dimensions of family law matters and brings that knowledge to every representation.

She advises clients on matters involving divorce, custody, spousal and child support, equitable distribution of property, pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and divorce agreements and post-judgment matters, hearings and trials.

Before entering private practice, Tocci was a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the General Crimes Bureau of the Eastern District of New York and an Assistant District Attorney for the Queens County District Attorney's Office. She also practiced as Court Attorney to the Honorable Esther M. Morgenstern, New York State Supreme Court Justice, in both the Kings County Family Court and the Queens County Integrated Domestic Violence Court, which she helped establish to unify the handling of matrimonial, family court and criminal cases.

Tocci earned her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining Fox, Tocci was counsel at Alter Wolff Foley & Stutman.
