Fox Rothschild welcomes Jake W. Bedor to the New York office as a Partner in the Real Estate Department.

“Jake joins our recently established and rapidly growing Cooperative and Condominium Law Practice,” said E. Bradley Gould, Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office. “His extensive experience advising coop and condo boards, alongside his work in commercial real estate litigation, provides significant value to our clients as New York’s real estate market gains momentum.”

Bedor helps boards navigate disputes among unit owners and with neighboring buildings, both amicably and through litigation. He also assists clients with revising and restating governing documents, such as bylaws and proprietary leases, and drafting leasing policies. In addition, Bedor guides clients through foreclosures, collections, financing and leasing transactions, access license agreements, and contracts with vendors and contractors.

Also an experienced real estate litigator, Bedor has handled high-value commercial foreclosure proceedings for borrowers and lenders and represented major New York landlords in commercial lease disputes.

Bedor earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from George Washington University.

Prior to joining Fox, Bedor was of counsel at Rosenberg & Estis, P.C.
