Evan is a seasoned advocate and trial lawyer who represents individual and professional fiduciaries, and beneficiaries — including high-net-worth individuals and charitable organizations — in a variety of disputes.

Understanding the highly personal nature of his clients' needs, Evan tailors his approach to their goals and distinct circumstances. Where feasible, he works constructively to bridge divisions between parties to reach a pragmatic resolution. When litigation is appropriate, he is tenacious in pursuing his clients’ interests in court, through trial and appeal if necessary.

Before Fox Rothschild

Prior to joining us, Evan was of counsel at a California regional law firm. He also previously practiced at three Bay Area boutique law firms focused on trust and estate law. Before becoming a lawyer, Evan was a professor who taught at the University of Pittsburgh, Macalester College and Cornell University. Evan was a Fulbright scholar to Indonesia, a Henry Luce Foundation fellow and Lila Wallace Foundation grantee.

Beyond Fox Rothschild

Evan speaks frequently on issues relating to trust and estate litigation, has contributed articles on trust and estate litigation to the ACTEC Journal and the California Trusts & Estates Quarterly, is annual editor of the CEB Practice Guide for Probate & Trust Litigation and volunteers with the Litigation Subcommittee of the Trusts and Estates Executive Committee for the California Bar (TEXCOM). He also conducts webinars for CEB on a variety of trust and estate topics.
