Diversity in the First Chair is a symposium focusing on the importance of having more women and diverse lawyers as first chairs in the courtroom and the boardroom. The plenary sessions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. will include sessions on the view from the bench, from in-house counsel and from male attorneys and their female or diverse mentees. The symposium will conclude with lunch and a presentation by the Honorable Shira Scheindlin, Retired, US District Court of NY.
