This session will discuss the different types of companion/sitter, and respite services that can be provided in the home care setting and best practices for providing those services. The discussion will also address the supervision and competency of staff providing companion, sitter, and respite services and the creation of a plan of care as well as the elements of a comprehensive agreement for those services.
