In this event moderated by Neale Johnson, R. Harper Heckman, Denise Smith Cline, and Marshall Karro discussed how to join national panels of arbitrators and how to become an arbitrator without joining a panel.

Participants reviewed common issues faced by new arbitrators, such as disclosure requirements, maintaining neutrality, handling pro se parties, subpoenas and protecting the award. They also discussed growing an arbitration practice.
