To remain relevant in today’s rapidly changing, information-intense world, regulators must continually evaluate existing market conditions while considering the potential implications of external forces and advances that weigh in on how their markets operate. Featuring a distinguished panel of North American regulators who daily address complex issues like data privacy and cyber security threats to the rapidly growing digital gaming products, financial crime threats like money laundering, fraud and suspicious financial activity, and whether local or national advertising restrictions are warranted to minimize harm amid extensive player acquisition efforts, attempting to streamline the multi-jurisdictional compliance challenges that operators and suppliers face might seem a low priority but is a constant suggestion from the industry. Our panelists will begin by discussing the many challenges facing the industry as we start a new year and share their thoughts on the feasibility of building consensus toward streamlining the regulatory and licensing process.

Moderated by Laura McAllister Cox, Chief Compliance Officer for Rush Street Interactive, and CJ Fisher, a Partner with Fox Rothschild, the panelists are:

  • Dan Hartman, Director - Director – Division of Gaming, State of Colorado
  • Cathy Judd-Stein, Chair, Massachusetts Gaming Commission
  • David Rebuck, Director - Division of Gaming Enforcement, State of New Jersey
