Corporate Partner Felix Kushnir Joins Fox Rothschild in DC
Fox Rothschild welcomes Felix J. Kushnir as a Partner in the Corporate Department in Washington, DC.

A strategic business lawyer, Kushnir represents corporate and private equity clients in major transactions, commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, general counseling and securities matters. In conjunction with the firm’s Federal Government Contracts Group, he advises public and private companies, investors and shareholders on the sale and acquisition of government contractors, guiding clients through the network of complex regulatory compliance rules and regulations.
Kushnir advises clients in a range of industries and regulatory environments, including federal government contracting, consumer and industrial products, telecommunications, financial services, cybersecurity, health care, biotech and energy.
He works with clients to navigate complex transactions and day-to-day business issues, including:

- Dispositions
- Financings
- Technology transactions
- Joint ventures
- Venture capital and debt financings
- Recapitalizations
Kushnir also advises cannabis dispensary owners, cultivators, processors, investors and product developers nationwide on matters involving equity financings, transactions and corporate governance.
Prior to his legal career, Kushnir worked in finance and corporate development. He held positions with Fortune 50 companies and shaped economic policy as a financial analyst for the U.S. Department of State. He was also a Deputy Judge Advocate for the United States Navy League from 2012 to 2014.
Kushnir earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He is fluent in Russian.
Prior to joining Fox, he was a shareholder at Shulman Rogers.
