As a litigator in the Automotive Practice Group, he represents dealerships through multiple stages of litigation and has successfully dismissed cases throughout Northern and Central New Jersey. Additionally, Francis has experience litigating insurance coverage disputes for major commercial insurance carriers, representing investment advisers for breach of contract actions and representing businesses in commercial disputes.

As a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group, Francis has experience in both enforcing and policing client brands, including the development, acquisition, maintenance and sales of trademark portfolios. Additionally, Francis has experience in defending against infringement actions and breach of trade secrets and restrictive covenants. Aside from litigation, he can draft licensing agreements, merchandising agreements and work made for hire agreements to ensure clients secure ownership of their creative output, set the scope of permitted use and avoid brand conflicts before they become disputes.

As a member of the Retail Practice Group, Francis litigates disputes involves leases and purchasing agreements, construction, permitting, and more. Francis also works with municipalities to ensure compliance with code enforcement, business licensing, ordinance compliance and regulatory compliance.
