Biography
John has extensive experience representing businesses and insurers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond in complex commercial litigation, including bad faith and Insurance Fair Conduct Act matters.
His experience includes counseling primary and excess insurers on complex, high-value coverage disputes involving environmental claims, opioids, PFAS, sexual abuse, and other risks. John has also advised London Market Underwriters regarding large-category losses.
He has represented international investors in fraud-related collection actions, and served as lead coverage counsel for international and cannabis industry clients. John represents clients from the inception of a matter through trial and/or arbitration, and he prides himself on finding big picture, business solutions whenever possible.
Before Fox Rothschild
John joined us from a Seattle-based insurance coverage and trial and defense firm. Before that he worked for other regional, national and international firms. John has also served as a Staff Attorney with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and as corporate counsel for a global logistics company.
While in Law School, John was Senior Project Editor for the University of Miami Law Review.
