Fox Rothschild congratulates entertainment attorneys Leron Rogers and John Rose, who received the Powerhouse Award for their contributions to the world of music by Black Music Moguls.

This year, Rogers and Rose were recognized at an exclusive invite-only brunch honoring legends in the black music community alongside icons TLC, TIP “T.I.” Harris and Amina Diop.

Rogers and Rose are trusted legal advisers and powerhouse dealmakers who have secured major content, sponsorship, licensing and live performance deals for top artists including rap icon Rick Ross, Grammy-nominated singer B.o.B, Billboard-charting singer and TV star Coco Jones and platinum artist Kaliii.

They are also experienced litigators who have represented clients including Ross, Kyla Pratt and B.o.B in multimillion-dollar court actions. In 2023, they helped Ross overcome local opposition to hold his 2nd annual car show, a popular regional event that draws thousands to Ross’ estate outside Atlanta.

Named to Billboard’s Top Music Lawyers list for five consecutive years, Rogers works with the full spectrum of music industry professionals, including multiplatinum recording artists, producers, songwriters, record labels, publishing and management companies, and music industry trade organizations. Beyond his practice, he serves as Chairman of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association and Co-Chair of the Music Industry Relations Collective for the National Museum of African American Music.

Rose represents a variety of high-profile clients, including award-winning creatives, multiplatinum recording artists and producers, and celebrity entertainers. He is also the co-founder of a “record label” for photographers called Collective Gallery, which invests in photographers’ dreams just as labels do for musicians and other artists.
