Fox Rothschild welcomes Kara Tredway to the Seattle office as counsel in the Litigation Department.

Tredway represents clients in all stages of commercial litigation, from inception through trial.

She has a background in insurance litigation, with considerable experience defending bad faith, Washington State Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and Insurance Fair Conduct Act (IFCA) claims. Kara has also handled a broad range of business litigation, in state and federal courts, including in the health care sector.

In addition, Tredway counsels clients on strategies to mitigate litigation exposure.

She is an active member of Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and the Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle.

Tredway earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, her M.A. from the International Institute for the Sociology of Law and her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
