Biography
Katie is a strategic adviser on a range of labor and employment issues for clients in a cross section of industries, including clients in the nonprofit and education sectors.
As former in-house counsel who has dealt firsthand with a broad range of workplace challenges, Katie understands the importance of delivering individually tailored support and practical advice.
She has extensive experience counseling on a wide variety of labor and employment issues, advising on risk mitigation strategies, overseeing internal investigations, labor relations, employee engagement strategies, collective bargaining negotiations, grievances and collective bargaining agreement administration.
Before Fox Rothschild
Katie joined us from a multinational machinery and construction equipment company where she was in-house labor and employment counsel.
She previously served as in-house counsel for Dyson and for a multistate cannabis operation with cultivation, corporate and retail functions. Katie also practiced as a pro bono attorney with the National Immigrant Justice Center.
While earning her law degree, Katie worked for the ACLU. She earned a distinguished editor award for her work on the University of Pennsylvania's Journal of Business Law, as well as the Philadelphia Bar Association's Irv Stander Award for Legal Acumen and Scholarship. Katie was a member of the Latin American Law Students Association and completed an externship for the Honorable Algenon L. Marbley of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
