Biography
Katie represents clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including commercial and intellectual property disputes, from pre-suit advice through trial and appeal.
She assists companies large and small regarding discovery and trial strategy, particularly in matters involving trade secrets and contract disputes.
She is experienced in large-scale case management, e-discovery and pre-trial litigation.
She also dedicates her time to various pro bono matters including through the Minnesota Justice Foundation and full-service litigation representation.
Recent Work
- Obtained injunction, affirmed by 8th Circuit, enjoining competitor’s patent prosecution activities before U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
- Part of jury trial team that successfully defended a claim filed against a railroad client under the Federal Employees Liability Act, resulting in a defense verdict
- Protect the interests of manufacturers against product liability suits
- Represent businesses in complex partnership disputes
Before Fox Rothschild
Prior to joining Fox, Katie was an associate in the Minneapolis office of a Midwest law firm.
During law school, she was a law clerk at a Minneapolis law firm and a legal intern at Polaris Industries, Inc., a Minnesota-based manufacturing and engineering company.
Beyond Fox Rothschild
Katie participates regularly in legal clinics with the Volunteer Lawyers Network and serves as a mentor in the University of St. Thomas School of Law's Mentor Program. She is also a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers.
