Prior to joining Fox, Gillespie was an attorney at Elias, Books, Brown & Nelson. She previously worked in-house for an oil and gas investment firm as A&D Manager, Land Manager and Assistant General Counsel. She also worked in-house as a Landman for two Oklahoma-based petroleum and natural gas exploration and production companies.

Gillespie is on the board of the Oklahoma County Bar Association and the Institute of Energy Law, and she serves on the Casady School Alumni Board.

She earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her B.A. from Davidson College.
