Fox Rothschild welcomes Keeley A. McCarty to the Washington, DC office as a partner in the Federal Government Contracts Department.
“Keeley’s experience with civil False Claims Act litigation as well as compliance and training programs on ever-changing federal procurement regulations will significantly help our clients mitigate risk and keep their focus on the business,” said Reggie Jones, Chair of the Federal Government Contracts & Procurement Practice. “With a focus on the defense, construction, and health care industries, she will be a tremendous asset to our team.”
McCarty represents companies – including those in the defense, construction, and health care industries – in a full range of government contracting matters, from bid protests and compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other federal regulations to government investigations, and False Claims Act (FCA) litigation as well as claim development, prosecution and defense. She is an experienced litigator, who practices before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, federal district courts, the Civilian and Armed Services Boards of Contract Appeals as well as the Government Accountability Office. She also monitors changing procurement regulations and trends in FCA prosecutions to provide forward-looking advice on risk mitigation and compliance programs and training.
In the health care sector, McCarty advises clients on the unique challenges of selling to the federal government. She helps pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers navigate the complex procurement process and resulting contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
McCarty earned her J.D., cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Florida.
